6th Grade Math
Hello y'all! My name is Ben Hardin and I'm the current 6th Grade Math teacher at PSPA. This is my first FULL year at Pine Springs, though I did become a member of the staff in January last school year. I'm entering into my 4th year as an Educator, and my experience extends through 10th grade Math II. I graduated from Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Psychology. At WCU I was a member of the WCU Rugby Club, the Club Wrestling Team, and Intramural Golf Champion in 2013. I've also been a High School Wrestling coach going on my 6th year now. My favorite part of being a Pioneer is the sense of community that has been established here between, teachers, staff, students, and parents. I love it here. In my free time I enjoy playing golf, taking road trips, being outside, visiting friends and family, trying new restaurants, and doing as much as I can, while I can.
Your student will be challenged from an intellectual, philosophical, and core value perspective. Although learning is tough, learning to do it right is worthwhile.
